Playing Hooky

Last weekend I took advantage of a renovation sale and invested in my very own pair of skis. At 50% off, I figured it was as good a time as any.



Then I used up some comp time and took the day off yesterday to squeeze in some end of season skiing with my new toy. Despite the spring-ish weather earlier in the week, yesterday couldn't have been a more perfect day to hit the slopes. Sunny skies accompanied the 5 inches of white stuff that hit town the night before in a mid-March winter storm. Got in about 5 1/2 hours of fun, fun, fun.
