Tough Call

It's been awhile since I've been as excited about a knitting project as I am about Lady Eleanor. Mr. Postman made the delivery on Friday just in time for the weekend and I just can't get enough. It's like crack. Well, it's what I imagine crack is like, anyway. I just can't decide which is more enticing -- the fascinating development of each rectangle, or the beautiful colors of this yarn.

I had been considering Boku for about as long as this has been in my knitting queue, but could never settle on a colorway. This time around though, these warm colors spoke to me and I was not disappointed upon opening that box. However, the yarn splits easily and I've had to loosen my normal grip and pull on the yarn. It was hard at first, but it was more frustrating splicing the yarn back together. It's been quite a few tiers since I've had a split, so I must be getting better. It was painful just tearing myself away to blog about this, but I think my wrists needed a little break (because a computer keyboard is such a great solution to that!?)
